How Mindfulness, Neuroscience, and Craniosacral Therapy Can Transform Your Life

In today’s fast-paced world, feelings of anxiety, burnout, and being overwhelmed are increasingly common. We’re constantly searching for ways to improve our focus, boost our well-being, and feel more connected to ourselves and others. The good news is that a powerful synergy exists between ancient contemplative practices, modern brain science, and gentle therapeutic touch.
Let’s explore the powerful trio of Mindfulness, Neuroscience, and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) and how they work together to create profound and lasting change.
Shifting Out of Anxiety

Anxiety has a pattern. If it continues for long enough it can cause the body and mind to experience a degree of overwhelm.
For some it may not be an issue and for others it may be rather challenging.
Anxiety affects the mind and body in a number of ways, causing dysregulation of the nervous system. The body may move into protection mode ensuring survival and the negotiation of any perceived threats.
During an experience of anxiety we generally have an increased heart rate, the diaphragm is likely to contract, the breath tends to quicken and the brain shifts to only the essential actions that sustain immediate survival needs. Our capacity for memory is reduced, social engagement and language skills are minimised. We may misinterpret the facial expressions of those around us as being unfriendly.

Rather than working to create a life of seamless ease, what if we approached adversity, the very thing we may want to minimise, in a new way? What if […]
What Exactly is a Resource?

A resource is anything that we gravitate to day-by-day that sustains the body, mind and energy systems. When it comes to health, essentially anything can be a resource. Still, there are certain key factors that serve to support any one person’s unique development. As a person changes, what helps a person grow, adapt and boost […]
