A resource is anything that we gravitate to day-by-day that sustains the body, mind and energy systems.

When it comes to health, essentially anything can be a resource.

Still, there are certain key factors that serve to support any one person’s unique development. As a person changes, what helps a person grow, adapt and boost their health also changes.

A big key, in my experience, is to cultivate familiarity with what health ACTUALLY feels like, by this I mean, health as a sensation.

Whether our awareness of health begins in the body, mind or our energy systems, we start by attuning, learning and refining our personal relationship with health. We start where we are.

This is a unique relationship that informs us of our bodies natural and innate intelligence.

The human nervous system is a highly sensitive and remarkable instrument that gives us instant feedback, moment to moment.

The body gives us a clear indication of what a resource is by telling us when we feel genuinely safe.

So, in terms of recognising what a resource is, we know that by looking at the influence it has on our bodies nervous system.

Does this ‘resource’ help my body feel safe?

In Craniosacral Therapy we assist the body to become familiar with what safety looks and feels like.

Why is this important?

Because the brain is wired in a unique way to prioritise health the moment the body recognises safety. This is exactly when the body prioritises health and in-turn begins resolving trauma, stress, emotional blocks and any type of illness on a cellular level.
